OpenShift Pricing Compare

Red Hat OpenShift on OCI (BYOL) vs managed OpenShift on AWS (ROSA), Azure (ARO), Google Cloud (OSD) and IBM Cloud (ROKS). Indicative on‑demand list prices; verify with each provider.

1Common requirements

What the OpenShift cluster needs, independent of cloud. Sizes are physical cores (1 core = 1 OCI OCPU = 2 vCPU elsewhere). Storage performance is a per‑volume target that every cloud is sized to meet.

2Cloud‑specific choices

Region, shape per node role, and storage type + performance settings for each cloud. Defaults are the cheapest option that meets Step 1; anything that falls short is marked ⚠. Only regions where the OpenShift offering is available are listed.
